  I began my professional career in law with Orpen Franks Solicitors and trained as a Legal Executive. I specialised in Personal Injury Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Licencing and Debt Collection.

• 1992

  1992

  I qualified as a Legal Executive and received my Diploma In Legal Studies from the College of Commerce, Rathmines, Dublin. I achieved full honours in Company Law, Contract Law, Property Law, Criminal Law, Tort (Litigation) & Constitutional Law. Legal Executives are the third level of Legal professionals in Ireland alongside Barristers and Solicitors.

  I joined Mason Hayes & Curran, Solicitors, a firm specialising in Defence Litigation. I worked closely with a number of high profile Insurance Companies and also developed relationships with a number of key Claims Handlers and Investigators.

• 1995

  1995

  I joined another Dublin law firm as a Legal Executive and was closely involved in their Personal Injuries Department. I worked on some difficult and challenging high profile litigious actions.

• 2008

  2008

  I was invited to become a full member of The Irish Institute of Legal Executives (IILEX).
  
  I joined a new firm of Solicitors, Moroney Barron. I was employed as a Legal Executive in their Personal Injury Department. I was involved in the co-ordination of a complex multi party action claim involving over 500 Plaintiffs.

  Given that I have worked in the Legal Sector for over 35 years I saw the benefits in setting up a practice to assist Car Owners, Taxi Drivers, Taxi Owners and Taxi Companies as well as any individual who may have been misfortunate enough to be involved in a motor accident, accident at work or an accident in a public place.
